I am a psychologist graduated in Colombia and right now I’m pursuing an MBA at the University of Essex. I have worked with a variety of groups in my country as a youth leader, I created a women’s network to help women have their political voice heard and now I am willing to put all my skills at the service of the international students. ​ I intend to make the voice of the international students heard, to make them feel even more welcome and to try to create experiences that engage you with this new stage in your life. ​ I understand that one of the most challenging scenarios is the difference in teaching and learning when you come to the UK.   I intend to address this situation and find ways in which the teaching experience could be better for all of us. We’ll try to find ways in which you get the support you need, and the professors hear the concerns of the student body to improve the experience and maximize the learning you get during your studies.   ​ Going to the university at an undergrad or postgraduate level in another country changes who you are forever and that is why it is vital that you make the most of the experience in and out of the classroom.   I want to be your voice and represent who we are as international students. Diverse, thriving but also challenged and with doubts. ​ Your presence makes the university diverse, your voice makes it better. Let me make your voice heard!
